What are the chances of a white Christmas?

Residents in Kent at the surrounding areas have just a 12 per cent chance of seeing snow over Christmas, according to Barratt Homes.

The firm has analysed the past 25 years of Met Office data to determine what conditions each area is most likely to experience this festive season.

Unsurprisingly, Scotland has the highest chance of seeing a white Christmas with a 44 per cent likelihood of snow. The last official white Christmas in the South East was 2001.
