THIS stunning image of Bewl Water was judged to be the best photograph taken of the reservoir during the summer.
Lena Bruce captured this shot of the jetty and still waters. and was crowned the inaugural winner of the Best of Bewl Water competition. It is on display at the venue’s Waterfront Café.
Budding photographers are invited to submit their best pictures taken during each season. The autumn competition will run from November 1 to January 31.
Andrew Daniells, Chief Operating Officer of Bewl’s owners Markerstudy Leisure, said: “If you’re venturing out for a leisurely walk or bike ride, or you just want to sit by the water for while, make sure you remember your camera and you could be the proud owner of the winning picture.”
The prize for the best photo is a three-course meal and a house drink for two at the Boat House Bistro on the banks of the reservoir.
An enlarged canvas of the next winning entry will go on display at Bewl Water, will be seen on social media and will be featured in the Times.
