Strictly fever comes to The Dairy

The event was organised by the residents and staff at McCarthy & Stone’s Tunbridge Wells Retirement Living Plus site in St John’s Road.

There were two impressive performances from professional dancers Richard Still and Morgan Hemphill, from Reading.

After dazzling the guests with the waltz and the rumba, they demonstrated some popular moves to help the audience improve their technique.

Attendees were also given a tour of The Dairy show complex, and had a chance to meet the McCarthy & Stone team and chat with retirees who are already living at the development.

Kevin Sims, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for McCarthy & Stone South East, said: “Our ballroom dancing event was a great success. Richard and Morgan put on a fantastic performance for our homeowners and guests. Everyone loved getting involved.

“If people were not up and dancing, then they were certainly tapping their toes.

“The event was a good chance for us to showcase the wide variety of activities we host here at The Dairy, and to provide people with an insight into the lives homeowners enjoy at the development.”

The Dairy has one and two-bedroom apartments designed for people over the age of 70, offering both independence and companionship.
