Organisers are advertising a special event on December 25 for the timed 3.1mile run at Dunorlan Park.
A spokesman for the event said: “This decision has only been made possible thanks to the good number of people who have volunteered to help out with the running of this event.
“We invite you [and your friends and family] to join us as we celebrate Christmas in style in Dunorlan Park at the usual start time of 9am.”
Over in Tonbridge, there will not be a Christmas Day run – but there will be an extra parkrun on New Year’s Day [January 1] at the later time of 10.30am.
And on December 22, the Racecourse Sportsground-based event, will be having a Christmas fancy dress special.
Both parkruns usually start on Saturday mornings at 9am.
