How you can enjoy the Calverley Grounds Ice Rink

Around 40,000 are expected to skate this season on the Calverley Grounds Ice Rink, which opens on Friday [November 16].

Tunbridge Wells Borough Council organises the facility alongside The Assembly Hall Theatre, which last year generated £56,000 for the authority.

Skating sessions last for one hour with numerous slots available for booking during the day from 9.45am to 8pm. There are also three dedicated parent and toddler sessions a day.

Tickets are £14.50 for adults and £9.75 for children. Parent and toddler sessions are £9.50.

But all customers must pay a booking fee, no matter how a ticket is bought.

A spokesman said: “A booking fee of up to £1.75 per ticket will be applied on all tickets booked by phone or in person. Online booking fees are only £0.85 per ticket.”
