Help break the record for Hospice in the Weald's Moonlight Walk
WALK IN THE PARK: Knole Park provides a stunning backdrop to the Moonlight Walk

The route will cover an eight-mile trail, starting at Vine Gardens and heading through Knole Park before returning to the town.

Last year a record number of 656 walkers, ranging from young children to a 91 year old, completed the course, helping to raise £63,000 for vital hospice funds.

“Our Moonlight Walk is an incredible event to be a part of. It is such a joyful event, with families and friends of all ages and abilities taking part,” said Michelle Winstone, the hospice’s Relationship Fundraising Coordinator.

“Walkers arrive in their masses, all kitted out in a mixture of fun outfits and head-boppers, brandishing an array of glow sticks.”

Those who are walking in celebration of their loved ones can write dedication messages on special stars that can be pinned to their Moonlight Walk T-shirt.

“Our walkers wear their loved one’s star with pride while reminiscing about wonderful memories and sharing stories along the way,” added Michelle. “Upon return to the Vine Gardens, you can add your star to the Memory Wall and light a candle as we celebrate life.”

Cheerleaders will be stationed along the route and there will be strawberries and hot dogs available at refreshment stops.

Entry costs £25 for adults and £15 for children, with all walkers receiving an exclusive Moonlight Walk T-shirt.
