Free swimming lessons in August to promote water safety

11th July 2019

FUSION Lifestyle at Tunbridge Wells Sports Centre and The Weald in Cranbrook are providing a month's free swimming lessons to help promote safety in the water.

The leisure company is offering all new Swim School members who sign up before July 19 the whole of August free of charge.

Anthony Cawley, director of operations at Fusion Lifestyle, said: "We know how important learning to swim is and we’re delighted to offer a whole month of free lessons to everyone who wants to learn.

"Raising awareness of water safety is really important and we’re proud to have the chance to do our bit to help everyone in Kent learn to swim."

Jo Talbot, Director of Commercial Operations from the Royal Life Saving Society UK, who organised last month's Drowning Prevention Week, added: "Learning to swim is one of the best ways to stay safe and is something we would encourage everyone to do, not matter how young or old you are – it’s never too late to learn."
