AS WELL as growing facial hair, local company CT Travel Group has raised £846 for men’s health charity The Movember Foundation by holding an indoor team triathlon.

The challenge, which was sponsored by Air France-KLM Airline, was held in the company’s on-site gym at their offices in Tunbridge Wells. This year CT Travel are celebrating their 30th anniversary in the town.

Two teams competed aover a distance of 60km, split between exercise bike, rowing machine and treadmill. The winners completed the course in two hours 17 minutes and 12 seconds.

All those who donated to the CT Travel Group Movember fundraising page were entered into a raffle to win a Fortnum and Mason luxury hamper donated by the airline.

CT Travel Group chief executive Mark Kempster said: “I am very proud of the fundraising effort staff have put in throughout November. It has been a true group effort across the company.”

The Movember Foundation is a charity that addresses some of the biggest health issues faced by men, including prostate and testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
