Woman trapped under car outside Tonbridge primary school

A WOMAN was rescued by the fire service after becoming trapped under a car outside Woodlands Primary School in Tonbridge.
The Kent Fire and Rescue Service sent three fire engines to the scene on Lawrence Road after the victim was hit by the car just before 9am on Friday [June 21].
The crews used airbags and hydraulic rescue equipment to lift the vehicle and release the casualty, whose injuries were said to be not life-threatening.
Air Ambulance Kent Surrey and Sussex also attended the incident along with the regular ambulance paramedics, and she was airlifted to hospital.
