On May 30-31, visitors will have the chance to win a brand new Mini while supporting the charity, which is almost entirely funded by public contributions.
The winner will be able to choose from one of
five models, supplied by Barretts Mini in Canterbury, with £1,000 for the runner-up and £250 for third prize.
The AAKSS fundraising team will be on hand to explain how the raffle is helping to support life-saving, time-critical emergency care across the region round the clock.
In 2018, its crews of pilots, doctors and paramedics flew nearly 2,500 missions out of its two bases in Redhill and Rochester.
AAKSS’s operational costs are £11million a year, with 92 per cent coming from donations, legacies and fundraising ventures – the remainder is provided by the NHS.
Last year, the raffle raised more than £220,000, which paid for more than 60 missions.
Tickets cost £5 each, and the draw will take place on November 20.
