PATIENT organisation Healthwatch Kent has been awarded for work with its ‘amazing 78 volunteers’. The independent body helps people with health conditions get the best out of their local services.

Chief Executive Steve Inett picked up the Investors in Volunteers award, which is a national quality standard for all organisations with volunteers. He said: “We are so proud. We literally couldn’t make the difference to health and social care services without them.”
