THE Tonbridge branch of Dementia Friendly Communities unveil their stall of ‘twiddle mitts’ at the Hildenborough Farmers’ Market.Â
The display of 82 knitted items were made by the market’s customers and Leigh Women’s Institute.
The mitts are designed to help people living with dementia to remain calm, keep restless hands busy and reduce anxiety.
The collection was passed on to Carers First, who will distribute them to those who need them in the community, and at Tunbridge Wells Hospital in Pembury.
