The annual event celebrates the value of plants and their impact on the local community.
Entry forms and more information can be found at local outlets, such as Coolings Garden Centre in Knockholt, Tonbridge Castle, Haysden Country Park, Tonbridge Swimming Pool and the Angel Centre, or online at coolings.co.uk
The competition is free to enter, with various categories ranging from individual pots to entire gardens, and covers all businesses.
The closing date for entries is June 30.
The winners will be awarded prizes of up to £25 of Coolings vouchers – and each household that enters will receive a £5 voucher.
Robert Styles, the council’s Director of Street Scene, Leisure and Technical Services says: “Local residents who enjoy gardening and those who would like to give it a go can help to transform their local areas into better places to live and work, and in turn make residents, businesses and communities proud of their town.”
Coolings Chairman Paul Cooling adds: “Plants and flowers can add a great deal of pleasure to our lives.
“This competition encourages the residents and businesses themselves to grow plants and care for their local space – after all, wouldn’t it feel better to live in a place that has an award for being beautiful?
“Hopefully, gardeners of all abilities will be tempted to enter and discover the pleasure of cultivating something beautiful for themselves and others to enjoy.”
