Tonbridge's Discovery Day inspires children to hone new skills
GOOD SPORTS: Fidelity International’s volunteers help out at the Angel Centre

Organised by Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council in conjunction with their Leisure Trust tmactive, the children had the chance to try out a wide range of sporting activities including basketball, trampolining, judo, non-contact boxing, athletics, yoga and Boxfit – many of which were delivered by local clubs and coaches – as well as arts and crafts.

The event was sponsored by Fidelity, the Hildenborough-based investment management services company, and members of staff were on hand to help run the day.

Tonbridge Lions Club also supported the event and their President Tom Simmons joined the Mayor to welcome the children.

Cllr Bates said: “It was wonderful to see the children having such a great time at this year’s Discovery Day.

“I would like to thank everyone who helped to make the event such a success.”

She added: “There was such a great variety of activities and I was impressed at how much energy the children put into learning and mastering new skills.”
