The Mead School in Tunbridge Wells gave a professional level performance in the ISA drama contests

THE Tonbridge Lions held its fifth Classic Car Tour on Sunday [July 15] with the Deputy Mayor of Tonbridge & Malling, Jill Anderson, starting the 53 vehicles at Tonbridge Castle.

The cars travelled through the countryside, having lunch at Barnsgate Manor near Uckfield.

Back at the castle they were greeted by Lion President Tom Simmons and his wife Vanessa.

The drivers and passengers then enjoyed a cream tea in the castle grounds.

The cars spanned more than 80 years; among the oldest was a 1934 MG PA, a 1934 MG PA Midget and a 1935 Lagonda M35R.

The tour was sponsored by Martin & Co, Hadlow Stair Garage and Warners Solicitors.
