Tonbridge Castle lawn hailed a blooming success

After being removed in error earlier this summer, the reinstated Tonbridge Castle flowerbeds are now in full bloom and have been winning high praise.

Concerned residents were quick to launch a petition for the return of the Cannon lawn flowers, which the borough council said had been removed because of a misunderstanding with its landscaping contractors.

The revived floral displays, which took a couple of months to mature, have been praised on social media.

Visitors to the town have flocked to take ‘selfie’ photos with the array of blooms, which have been hailed as being in best-ever shape.
