AS the deadline looms for photos for next year’s Tonbridge Daily calendar, the judging panel has been announced to select the 12 best submissions.
The team of seven judges (pictured right) from various local businesses and organisations will pour over pictures of Tonbridge scenery. Of course, with the photos needing to match the seasons of the year, organisers are asking participants to dig into their old files to find their wondrous winter shots.
The 2017 Tonbridge Daily Calendar was the first of its kind and proved an enormous success. Originally 500 were printed but they sold so quickly that another 200 had to be ordered. They were priced at £7.
In total, the calendar raised more than £3,000 for the Lions Club who provided the sponsorship for its production. Tonbridge Daily’s Suzannah Niklas received the prestigious Holly Renny Award for the achievement.
Before submitting please read the Terms and Conditions set out on the Tonbridge Daily Facebook page and send your digital images to tonbridgedailycalendar2018@gmail.com. Closing date for entries is Friday 28 July at 5pm.
