TV STAR London Hughes was invited to Barnardo’s Meadows School in Southborough to present awards at their end-of-term prize-giving ceremony.
London, the face of the BBC’s Comedy Classroom and co-host of CITV’s Scrambled, praised staff and students at the school, which caters for pupils with special educational needs.
She said: “I was honoured to be asked to support Barnardo’s, who do such invaluable work with vulnerable children and young people across the UK. The children have achieved great things during this academic year, and it has been a pleasure to award them for all of their hard work.”
Meadows School Principal Mike Price said: “We are very grateful that London took time out of her busy schedule to come along.”
