Special awards for self-catering cottages and local B&B in West Kent

THREE local places to stay have been awarded Visit England’s Rose award this year, in recognition of service excellence.

One hundred awards are handed out each year based on managers and staff offering delightful surroundings irrespective of star ratings, style or type of accommodation.

Hollambys in Groombridge has three self-catering cottages in a converted former estate office set on a small organic farm with outstanding views (www.hollambys.co.uk)

Albans Barnyard’s Pippins Cottage in Pembury is a two-bedroom self-catering cottage located on 18 acres of smallholding.

Little Saltwood Farm in Cranbrook is a bed and breakfast five minutes from the town, situated on 12 acres of natural pasture, woodland and orchard.
