Queen at the castle: Open air cinema strikes musical note

Gates open at 7.45pm with all films starting at 9.15pm. On Friday July 19 they will show Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

Then the weekend will provide a musical extravaganza with A Star Is Born as the Saturday night showcase and Bohemian Rhapsody completing the programme on Sunday.

Luna is the UK’s leading producer of outdoor cinema events, putting on 175 screenings across the country.

This is the fifth season that the Castle has played host to the Luna big screen, and the last three years have been sell-outs.

Audiences are welcome to bring along chairs, picnics and drinks. There will also be hot food for sale and a full bar on site.

Tickets cost £15.50 for adults, £10.50 for children and £28 for VIP seats, and are available online at thelunacinema.com

The VIP tickets include a premium seat in a prime position on the Castle Lawn and a free drink at the Luna Bar.
