BABIES and children from Puddle Ducks West Kent and East Sussex raised more than £1,000 for the Bowles Rocks Trust.

The charity, which is located between Tunbridge Wells and Crowborough, has been helping children to build their confidence and learn new skills through outdoor activity for more than half a century.

Every year the swim school holds a week-long Charity Pyjama event where children raise money by attending lessons dressed in their pyjamas. This helps them to learn valuable water safety and survival skills.

Clive Relf of Puddle Ducks said: “Our Charity PJ Week is a great way of teaching our children important lifesaving skills in a fun and relaxed environment, whilst raising money for such a great cause.

“We were delighted to fundraise for the Bowles Rocks Trust. We have a close link with them and provide swimming lessons at the centre.

“They do fantastic work and we fully appreciate the importance of helping children and younger people to grow and develop. Our little swimmers thought it was wonderful to help other children.”

Puddle Ducks provides award-winning swimming programmes for children up to four years old. It focuses on teaching in a nurturing environment with tailored activities to suit all abilities.
