A TRAVEL agent has thanked ‘loyal customers’ after being honoured at an industry awards ceremony.
Nick Marks, director of Baldwins Travel Group [BTG], said he was ‘thrilled’ to pick up the Leisure Travel Agent of the Year gong from TV star Mark Durden-Smith at the Advantage Big Celebration Lunch in London on Friday, October 6.
BTG have eight offices in Kent and Sussex, including their bases in Grosvenor Road, Tunbridge Wells, and High Street, Tonbridge.
Mr Marks said: “This award is testament to the passion, hard work and dedication of all our teams.”
Julia Lo Bue-Said, managing director of Advantage Travel Partnership, the firm who organised the awards, passed on her congratulations.
She said: “This is a fantastic vote of confidence in the independent travel industry. “We would like to congratulate Baldwins Travel Group for their outstanding performance this year.”
