REGALPOINT Homes has said it is ‘steaming’ towards the development of 14 flats on 133 High Street.
The Sevenoaks developer has stated that the ‘contemporary apartments’ will be made up of one and two-bedroom units.
Construction is expected to start by March, although the project is still awaiting approval from Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council.
The four-storey building is currently unoccupied after estate agents Ward & Partners moved next door to 129-131 High Street in the summer of 2016.
The developers believe the area’s ‘popularity is only growing’ but Regalpoint Director, Tony Porter, sought to reassure those who are concerned by soaring markets rents.
“We recognise the importance of creating appealing sites for all budgets,” he said.
