The incident took place between 6-7pm on June 28, and the victim required hospital treatment.
Police are looking to identifying four men. The suspects made their way to the train station, where they are alleged to have caused a further disturbance by throwing bins around outside.
The assault follows an altercation last month in which a disabled woman said she was attacked by a gang of youths while she was crossing the road on her mobility scooter.
