PADDOCK WOOD LIONS CLUB has donated £500 to local deaf charity Hi Kent in recognition of the work the charity do in the town.

Hi Kent’s Debra Jones said: “We are delighted that the Paddock Wood Lions have supported us once again.”

She added: “Their kind donation will help us to continue to run our busy hearing aid clinic in the town, which offers a free aftercare service for clients with NHS hearing aids, and our free lipreading class which teaches this fantastic skill and enables people living with a hearing loss to enjoy conversation once more.”
