Family pays tribute to son who died in Hadlow road accident

Tom Smith died on October 25 when his car left the road and collided with a tree. The 25-year-old died at the scene.

His family issued a statement saying: “Tom enjoyed watching football, fishing and being with his friends. He will always be missed and loved by all his family and friends.”

Two women, also in their 20s, were passengers in the car and sustained injuries in the crash.

Mr Smith was driving a blue Vauxhall Vectra along Tonbridge Road at around 7.55pm.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are continuing to appeal for information from anyone who may have information.

They are keen to speak to the driver of a dark-coloured Suzuki who may have seen the vehicle just before the collision.

Anyone with information is asked to call Kent Police on 01622 798538 quoting DK/SM/150/18 or email sciu.td@kent.pnn.police.uk
