Drone shot shows how new-look A21 is shaping up…

The Belvedere Public Consultation

A drone flying high above Tunbridge Wells gives an aerial view of the ongoing renovation of the A21 between Tunbridge Wells’ Longfield Road roundabout near Pembury and the A26 near Castle Hill in Tonbridge which will see the provision of a dual carriageway instead of the single-lane section. The £70million project is set to ease congestion for the 46,000 cars which are estimated to use the main artery through West Kent and East Sussex every day. The project is due to be completed next year, with the second phase – to build a fly-over at the roundabout – having begun in August.
