Presented by Tonbridge Lions Club, the group hopes to build on the ‘extraordinary success’ of last year’s production Snow White. The show will once again be based on a home-grown script written by TCP members.
Darcey Dunn returns as Alice, who ‘follows where she shouldn’t to meet the Sisters of Suits’. the Queen of Diamonds is played by William Coote, the Queen of Spades by Cheryl Crouch, the Queen of Clubs by Edd Price, and the Queen of Hearts by Maddy Boyle.
Ana Teubler said: “From disco-dancing cats to enslaved packs of cards to tarts that would make Mary Berry grimace, this is not a pantomime to be missed.”
TCP also staged its first Summer Show in August, performing The Speakeasy, a cabaret filled with characters from the criminal underworld.
On Friday [December 13] there is a single performance at 7.30pm while on Saturday and Sunday there are two shows, at 2pm and 6pm.
Entry cost £12 for adults and £10 for children, with a family discount at £35. Tickets are available from the Angel Centre by calling 01732 359966. Proceeds will be distributed by the Lions to various charities and worthy causes.
