Childrensalon and Nourish are taking bets to help fight poverty

CHILDRENSALON are teaming up with Nourish Community Foodbank once more to host a Lucky For Some Charity Casino Night on Friday October 13 at Salomons Estate in Southborough.

The gala fundraising event, organised by the online children’s fashion retailer, will feature casino tables, a wheel of fortune, an auction and raffle, a hot buffet, live music from the West Kent Big Band and tricks from the magician Bob Pound.

All proceeds will go to Nourish. Last year the evening raised £6,180. The charity foodbank can provide short-term emergency support for low-income working households in Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge who struggle to make ends meet once they have paid their bills, and those individuals and families who have been hit by welfare benefit cuts or unemployment.

Tickets
Tickets to the event cost £20, and guests are requested to bring along a tin of food on the night. For more information, please visit www.nourishcommunityfoodbank.org.uk/
