Air ambulance raffle

Three Acts

Shoppers at Waitrose in Paddock Wood raised £1,900 for Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance in a raffle to win a Mini Convertible as the charity awaits the arrival of a new helicopter next month.

The money was raised at the Church Road store between July 29 and 30, however the £5 per ticket raffle will continue at other locations and online until March 31, 2017.

Donations will go towards the £6.5million it costs each year to continue the service’s life-saving work.

Air Ambulance Head of Lotteries & Gaming James Cook said: “We are really grateful to Waitrose Paddock Wood for giving us a platform to raise awareness of the charity, and to the public for their support.”
