A4G Amherst are champions of ellenor’s Accumulator Challenge

THE second year of ellenor’s Accumulator Challenge saw more than 30 local businesses
competing against each other to raise £16,504 for families facing terminal illness.
Each company was given a crisp £50 note and given three months to grow it into as large a sum as possible. The challenge was sponsored by Baxall Construction, who won the inaugural fundraiser last year.
The funds will go towards providing counsellors to support bereaved children and adults in the family home.
Sevenoaks accountants A4G Amherst Ltd were named as this year’s winners after raising £2,172 through a networking evening, riding a stationary bicycle on the pavement,
dress-down Fridays, and a children’s play session.
Kate Barnes, ellenor’s Area Fundraising Manager, said: “We’re delighted with how much time and effort companies put into fundraising for ellenor.
“The amount raised by local companies enables us to continue to provide our care and support to local families facing terminal illness when they most need it.”
ellenor provides hospice care for people of all ages – babies, children and adults – and their families. For information, visit www.ellenor.org
