25th July 2019

ALMOST 500 supporters came to the Jockey Farm Stadium on Sunday July 21 to watch an Arsenal Charity XI take on the Rusthall Legends.

The Gunners side was made up of former players Ian Selley, Jimmy Carter and Omar Riza, and celebrity supporters.

The event raised funds for the Arsenal Foundation, Hospice in the Weald and Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex.

The fans witnessed an enjoyable spectacle, with some good football on show from both sides. Rusthall took the lead from the spot after Constable won a penalty and then converted it.
