Tonbridge mens' team storm to victory and win back crown
Tonbridge Athletic Club’s men’s team regained the English National Cross Country Championship

A good turn-out led to competitive racing, including a few slips and spills, but the final lap saw Andy Howey crowned as men’s champion, with Jillian Holford taking the women’s crown.

The club welcomed former Olympic distance runner Dame Kelly Holmes to their weekly club run on March 20.

They relished the opportunity to run with the double gold medallist, who later talked to more than 100 members about her latest book, Running Life.

The Hildenborough athlete also shared insights into her pre-race superstitions, cross training regime and post-race recovery.
