It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…

RTW Together BID has put together a countdown to Christmas 2023 which we are privileged to exclusively promote in this edition of SO magazine.

From their Joy to the Wells campaign, which celebrates the considerable and impressive range of events and activities on offer across Tunbridge Wells in the run-up to Christmas and New Year, to the Big Reveal events – which have tripled in number for this year – there is something for every resident and visitor to enjoy this holiday season.

In addition to all this, there will be a new RTW Christmas guide which will be a must-read as it contains brilliant gift ideas, delicious Christmas menus and lots of information about what’s on throughout December – plus tons of shopping and hospitality listings.

It is available online at
www.visittunbridgewells.com or you can pick one up from Royal Victoria Place, The Amelia, The Pantiles or one of the many shops and hospitality venues that stock them. Or why not grab one from one of the new RTW lamppost leaflet dispensers across the town?

Commenting on this year’s RTW Together BID Christmas campaign its CEO Alex Green tells SO magazine that the organisation is ‘committed’ to supporting all of our wonderful local businesses during the festive period:

“We are committed to bringing ‘Joy to the Wells’ this Christmas. It is a key time for our retail and hospitality businesses so we therefore continue to support them through our promotions, lights and festive events, to ensure Tunbridge Wells attracts visitors and shoppers during this key trading period.”

For 2023 The Big Reveal will take in the Upper Town & Camden Road (16th November) and the High Street & Chapel Place (17th November) as well as its original location of The Pantiles (18th November).

“The Big Reveal is the ultimate Christmas event and offers fun-filled early evening events for the whole family to enjoy,” explains Alex.

“The free event will take place in three different locations over three different dates from November 16-18 from 4.30pm to 7pm. There will be carols, music, a visit from Santa Claus with his sleigh, special guests, festive food and drink, multiple light switch-ons and the biggest window reveal ever!”
