The eyes have it

Former MasterChef finalist Angela Langford developed her natural skincare range in 2015. And just like the ethos at Olverum, her brand’s main thrust is to also create products which are as natural as possible, vegan and cruelty free but also help to boost your mood and sense of well-being thanks to ingredients being ‘sourced from nature’s larder’.

That means no horrid chemicals but instead a slew of natural ingredients – from almonds and juniper to pumpkin and sea salt – acting as solutions for your skin – whatever its type. Within Angela’s range you’ll find remedies for anti-ageing, congested complexions, rosacea and visible pores. Some of her stand out products range from cult hero cleanser Clean Sweep (£18), to Scrub Up exfoliator (£27.50) and the super luxurious night balm Rest and Regenerate (£39.00).

All of Angela’s products are created by hand at her workshop in Pembrokeshire. We’ve been recently trialling her Angel Eyes rollerball (£19.50) product which gently glides over the delicate eye area and deposits its blend of cooling cucumber, argan and rosehip to repair and smooth accordingly. It’s also great to keep in your handbag for when you want a little pick me up half way through the day – and we have definitely noticed it helps improve the appearance of those pesky fine lines. The beauty line from this talented chef really is a recipe for success…

Smooth things over…

With over nine decades of experience in spa culture, Olverum has long understood the connection between wellness and beauty.

The sought-after holistic brand very much believes that what you put on your skin should make you feel fantastic – both inside and out. And so it will come as great news to its many fans that the 90 year old beauty brand has finally released its at-home spa Firming Body Moisturiser.

Packaged in a sleek black bottle that will enhance the look of any bathroom shelf, this vegan and cruelty-free product’s main aim is to target those areas of the body which, to put it bluntly, are starting to sag and appear crepe like.

Harnessing the disciplines of botanical cosmetic science, aromatherapy and aromachology, this new and sustainable body moisturiser glides on and not only helps combat loss of tone and elasticity thanks to its special toning crowberry extracts but also helps to create a sense of well-being thanks to its sense-inducing, divine smelling formulation. This includes winged kelp extract, papaya enzymes, meadowfoam oil and rice extract in order to soothe the skin – and your sense of self too. If that’s not a winning combination we don’t know what is!
