The Amara Clinic recently announced that it has partnered with renowned fertility clinic LCRH to offer bespoke services to clients here in Tunbridge Wells. SO Magazine discovers more about this exciting new endeavour…

In July The Amara Clinic, which is located near The Pantiles and was founded by Consultant Gynaecologist Anne Henderson in 2022, announced that it would be entering a special partnership with the leading LCRH fertility clinic which has bases in London’s Harley Street and Chelsea, as well as Beaconsfield.

“The idea behind this unique collaboration is to bring exceptional fertility services to the heart of Tunbridge Wells,” a spokesperson for the new venture tells SO magazine.

Combined services offered will include IVF/ICSI and IUI, male and female fertility profiling and testing, egg and sperm freezing and storage, donor programs and complementary therapies.

The new partnership unites these top level clinics that offer a bespoke, holistic and caring approach to healthcare to women, couples and families in Kent and the South East.

“The Amara Clinic is a centre of excellence dedicated to women’s health and wellbeing, and LCRH is a fertility clinic that offers a wide range of fertility and assisted conception services to its patients,” explains the spokesperson.

Anne Henderson said she is ‘delighted’ about the new services she and her dedicated team will be offering in collaboration with fertility specialist Jane Holman of LCRH.

“I’m absolutely delighted to announce the new partnership between The Amara Clinic and LCRH. At The Amara Clinic, our mission is to make it easy for all women to access the quality healthcare they need.

“Fertility care is an important part of the female healthcare experience, so I am proud that we are now able to offer fertility services alongside general gynaecology, perimenopause and menopause care, cervical screening and Well Woman health checks.”

Jane Holman adds that LCRH can offer all aspects of fertility health and well-being for both women and men.

“We provide boutique and bespoke treatments with the emphasis on individual care and attention to detail, supported by the most advanced scientific practices in the field.

“We have had ongoing collegiate relationships with Anne Henderson and other gynaecology colleagues in the area for many years, and this partnership is the result of natural progression. We identified the lack of provision of bespoke services for women’s health in the area and our partnership grew from a like-minded wish to remedy this.

“At LCRH and The Amara, we are all passionate about wanting the best for women’s health. We want to enable and empower women – and in LCRH’s case, couples too – to make educated decisions about their health, supported by our caring and scientifically informed approach.”

Both clinics are passionate about offering a new standard of excellence for women’s healthcare both here in Tunbridge Wells and in the South East.

“We can offer a full range of fertility services,” continues Jane.  “These start at point of care male and female fertility assessments for couples or individuals who would just like to know more about their current fertility health.

“A fertility assessment includes all blood tests, investigative scans, and an on-site semen testing facility in Tunbridge Wells. We also offer full preparation for IUI (intrauterine insemination) IVF, ICSI, IMSI, Egg Freezing, Egg Donation and Reciprocal IVF for same sex couples. Per embryo transfer, we have a much higher success rate than he UK average.”

Jane, who has over 25 years experience in women’s health, reveals that LCRH is a small, female-lead, all female team, which puts compassion, individual care and attention to detail, and science at the core of everything they do.

“When undergoing treatment with our team, you will very soon become part of the LCRH family. Unlike many other clinics, will always see the same faces, undergo care with the same highly experienced clinical staff and speak to the same dedicated and knowledgeable support staff throughout your treatment journey.”

She says that both she and LCRH founder Dr Lynne Chapman are looking forward to bringing that exceptional service to Tunbridge Wells thanks to the clinic’s new partnership with The Amara.

Dr Lynne Chapman, who is a reproductive medicine consultant tells SO magazine: “We are thrilled to be partnering with The Amara Clinic. Jane and I are passionate about providing personalised end-to-end care, and The Amara Clinic is the perfect home for LCRH in Kent.

“It offers a peaceful, private and safe environment for bespoke, holistic care, and we are so excited to welcome new patients through our doors.”
