The Sankey’s brand could be expanding yet again after the chain’s owner revealed he is looking for a new site for a restaurant in the town centre.
Matthew Sankey has given notice that he is seeking a unit between 1,000 and 2,000 sq ft on either Monson Road, Camden Road or Mount Pleasant which ideally will be on a 15-year lease and cost up to £25,000 per annum.
Confirming the new dine-in establishment will be another fish bar, Mr Sankey hinted that he is seeking to offer a new spin on a tried and tested formula.
