No sign of team at Tunbridge Wells hospital

Tunbridge Wells Hospital missed three NHS targets but is out of special financial measures

The team which will attempt to stop the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust haemorrhaging money has still not been appointed.

Two months on from the Tunbridge Wells Hospital in Pembury being put into financial special measures, the promised introduction of specialists to halt overspending is yet to have taken place.

The trust is likely to lose £24million this year. When asked if a team had been installed, a spokesman for the trust said there was ‘no further announcement at this stage’.
