Man found in Calverley Grounds confirmed dead

A MAN whose body was found inside Calverley Grounds has died, Kent Police has confirmed.

The force was called to the park in central Tunbridge Wells at 6.42pm on Friday, June 29, after reports from concerned members of the public.

Officers attended the scene where it was confirmed a man in his 40s had died. His next of kin have been informed.

Coroner

The man has not been named by the police.

A spokesman said: ‘The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be completed for the Coroner.’

Ambulance crews were also spotted in Calverley Grounds around the time of the discovery.

South East Coast Ambulance Service has also been approached for comment.
