The county was the number one trending tourist destination in England last year, according to travel website Momondo.
The website analysed the total number of UK destination flight searches for 2015 compared to the previous year.
Kent came top of the list after searches for destinations in the county climbed 602 per cent, with Cambridge recording the second highest increase, up 288 per cent.
