A FITNESS company in Tunbridge Wells is hosting its second Big Pink week from October 2-8 to raise awareness and funds for Breast Cancer Care.
Family Inspired Training [FIT] encourage families to keep fit together. Lucy-Jo Tostevin, who runs the business with her partner Carl Wilkinson, says: “It’s a fun way to bring together people from the local community while also raising awareness and money for the Breast Cancer Care Charity.”

She added: “Almost all of us have been affected or knows someone affected by cancer, so all the more reason to raise awareness for this great charity.”

“We’d love locals to join us for our fitness sessions during this week as all the proceeds at every session will be donated to the charity.”

Fiona West, Fundraising Officer at Breast Cancer Care, added: “The money they raise will help the charity to continue to provide a unique range of free support, including reliable information and one-to-one support over the phone and online from nurses and people who’ve been diagnosed themselves. “An estimated 691,000 people in the UK are currently living with a breast cancer diagnosis so there has never been such an urgent need for our support services.”

FIT’s Big Pink is being held on Monday October 2, 9.30am and Wednesday October 4, 9.15am at Langton Green Pavilion; Wednesday October 4, 6.15pm at Ashurst Recreation Ground; and Saturday October 7, 8am at Lower Tunbridge Wells Common.
