Feet of endurance help kids realise their dreams

Two local residents have raised a thousand pounds in aid of Taylor-Made Dreams by each walking 100km in one month while juggling work commitments and holidays.

Vivienne Vockins and Gill Hicks donated £1,035 to the charity in Crowborough, which enables children with terminal and critical illnesses to achieve their ‘bucket list’.

Suzi Mitchell set up the charity in 2014 after her son Taylor died from an incurable illness. It also provides counselling and holistic therapy to support families.

Ms Mitchell said: “I am incredibly proud of these two ladies for raising so much money. We are a growing charity and we have many requests from local families and their children.”
