Common cause as Tunbridge Wells sets off on charitable pursuit

More than 600 runners, both seasoned and amateur, took part in the Hospice in the Weald 10K run on Sunday.

Raising money for a variety of causes, the hordes of fundraisers could be seen sprinting, jogging and walking their way round the town. Starting and finishing at the Common, the popular event began and ended with Dame Kelly Holmes blaring the starting klaxon and congratulating finishers with medals.
