CHAMBERLAIN COURT, a new residential and dementia care home in Tunbridge Wells, has given £500 each to two local charities to mark Pay It Forward Day.
The money was donated to Tree of Hope, the Tonbridge-based charity for seriously ill and disabled children, and The Good Neighbours Project in Tunbridge Wells, a befriending service for the elderly.
The national awareness day encourages people to perform random acts of kindness.
Darren Hill, Customer Relationship Manager at Chamberlain Court, said: “Both charities do amazing work in the local and extended communities and we hope to be able to support them in their future fundraising efforts.”
Befriending Manager for The Good Neighbours Project, Elizabeth Hills, added: “Good Neighbours is pleased to welcome Hallmark Care Homes to Tunbridge Wells, where there is a growing need for residential care home facilities.
“Chamberlain Court joins the existing high-quality offering in the town providing further choice for its elderly residents.”
Chamberlain Court Care Home on Mount Ephraim Road is scheduled to open on June 27. It forms part of Hallmark Care Homes, the award-winning care provider which has 16 homes across England and Wales.
