The incident happened on the Speldhurst Road, Southborough just before 9am .
Police say the boy was taken to hospital. His condition is not thought to be serious.
A spokesperson said: “Kent Police were called at 8.50am on Thursday 13 February 2020 to a collision in Speldhurst Road, Southborough at the junction with London Road.
“The collision involved a car, and a boy believed to be of secondary school age. Officers and the South East Coast Ambulance Service attended, and the child has been taken to hospital. The driver of the car stopped after the collision.”
