Air ambulance called following a serious town centre vehicle crash

AN AIR ambulance has been called and a Tunbridge Wells town centre road cordoned off following a serious vehicle crash.

The incident, involving a van and a motorcycle happened on Church Road just after noon on Saturday [May 29]. Police, the ambulance service and Kent Fire and Rescue were called to the scene.

A spokesperson for Kent Police, said: “Kent Police was called at 12.25pm on Saturday 29 May to Church Road, Tunbridge Wells following reports of a collision involving a van and a motorbike.

“Kent Fire and Rescue Service, along with SECAMB and the Kent air ambulance are also at the scene.

“The road is currently closed while the emergency services deal with the incident.”
