TONBRIDGE JUDDIANS travelled to Southend for their last league game in National Three London & South East having secured promotion and the league title a fortnight ago.
The hosts frequently tested the TJ back-line with high kicks in a strong breeze but full-back Murray -Galbraith-Lowe used his takes as a springboard to launch counter-attacks and on one of these forays he went over for the first try.
Southend hit back though to go in at half-time 15-10 up, but Ryan Redman put TJs back in front after the interval.
Tom Nicoll scored following a long, patient build-up and TJs secured their try bonus point when Nicoll scored again.
TJs were in impressive form and -everything they tried came off. A fifth try came almost immediately as Galbraith- Lowe put in a hard tackle, secured possession and sped away to score under the posts.
It did not take long for Galbraith-Lowe to bag his hat-trick, although Southend rallied in the last 10 minutes to reduce the arrears.
TJs can now look ahead to the Kent Cup Final next Sunday against Sidcup, the London One South champions, at Canterbury RFC (kick-off 4.30pm).
