TONBRIDGE JUDDIANS knew that a bonus point win over Dorking would be another big step towards the National Three London and South-East title and promotion.

TJs currently need 15 points from three games, with 20 on offer.

But Dorking had other ideas and scored first with a well-worked try and conversion.

Will Colderick broke through for TJs and after a few charges at the line Michael McBeath scored.

A similar passage of play followed soon after with George Lawson smashing through under the posts. Liam Prescott converted to increase the lead to 12-5 at half-time.

The strong wind was playing havoc and a Dorking spillage allowed the ball to be worked right for Murray Galbraith-Lowe to go over.

The forwards got in on the act again as Stephen Neli went on the charge and with a little help he also crossed for a try – and secured a bonus point.

The win maintains TJs’ five-point lead over Wimbledon intact at the top of the table. They travel to Sutton & Epsom on Saturday.
