Football: Rusthall Reserves and Snodland battle for the top
CONSTANT THREAT: Franck Ndouga shows his pace

RUSTHALL Reserves faced Snodland Town with the league leadership up for grabs.

The Rustics’ Franck Ndouga was a constant threat with his strength and pace.

In one attack the home side hit the post twice and saw the ball cleared off the line, leaving the score goalless at half time.

After a period of Rusthall pressure, Snodland broke away and scored.

This spurred the home side into action and after a goalmouth scramble Craig Gallie equalised with a shot from distance.

Rusthall’s Development team beat Green Street Green Rovers 6-4 in the quarter-final of the Fisher Shield, coming from behind several times before securing victory.
