The Conservators of Tunbridge Wells and Rusthall Commons are the statutory body with responsibility for conservation and management of the two Commons.
We are looking for a highly-motivated individual with a successful professional track record to take on the role of Director of the Commons and Clerk to the Conservators. The successful applicant will work closely with the Conservators in managing the Commons for the benefit of local people and to enhance their habitats and wildlife.
This is a voluntary role requiring a commitment of around 150 hours each year, including attendance at quarterly Conservators’ meetings. The Clerk will receive an annual honorarium of £3,000, including expenses.
